Announces New Chief Operating Officer

Kingdom of Bahrain:
Kalaam Telecom announced that Veer Passi has been appointed Acting Chief
Operating Officer of the company effective 1st July, 2010, in addition to
continuing to serve as its Chief Financial Officer.
“We are very pleased to announce that Veer, who had
joined Kalaam, as its Chief Financial Officer in June 2009 will be assuming the
larger role of managing the day to day operations of the Company going forward”
said Nezar Mohammed Al Saie, Chairman of Kalaam Telecom. “We have been working
hard to design an organizational structure that will best enable Kalaam to
achieve its operating & financial goals and with the operational
efficiencies we have seen over the past year, it gives us the confidence that
Kalaam is well positioned now to implement multiple growth initiatives”
Veer possesses more than 10 years of experience in
Corporate Finance and Financial Systems Management in the Telecom Industry.
Prior to joining Kalaam Telecom, he held various executive management positions
with some of the largest GSM and CDMA operators in India including Bharti
Airtel & Reliance Communications. He also brings consulting experience in
the fields of Corporate Finance & Cost Management Strategies for large
telecom operators in the MENA region. Veer is a certified Chartered Accountant
and a Cost Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants / Cost
Accountants of India.

Kalaam Telecom also announced that Suleiman Maani, its Chief Executive Officer
has left the Company to pursue another opportunity. “We thank Suleiman for his

Saie.
