What is TalkPC?
TalkPC is one of Kalaam’s advanced VOIP (Voice
Over Internet Protocol) products. It allows the user to download Kalaam’s
soft-phone onto their PC or laptop.
Once the soft-phone is downloaded, the user can start to enjoy all
the benefits of low cost national and international calling.
TalkPC with its soft-phone technology is also the
ideal tool whilst traveling abroad. Once connected to the Internet, the user
will be able to make and receive calls roaming worldwide.
How does it work?
Kalaam provides you a local Bahraini number
just like your home phone but on the move !
Once your TalkPC account is activated, Kalaam
arranges for you one of their own161xxxxx local Bahrain numbers(just like your
regular 17 home phone numbers) for a small setup fee.
Having the 161 telephone number will enable you to make and receive
calls just like a conventional telephone and enjoy the most competitive rates
when placing international calls. In addition, while traveling, making and
receiving calls to/from Bahrain will be charged at local rates.
