Getting started with Kalaam hala
is as easy as 1,2,3...
Simply visit any of
Kalaam Telecom’s office at (Almoayed tower, Mez. Floor or Lulu mall at Riffa)
or visit our authorized dealers which are listed on the website, then fill in
the application attached to register your mobile number with Kalaam and insert
the hala Dialer into your mobile (assistance will be provided).

How to Recharge
• Dial ##9
on your mobile phone for automated voice prompt.
• To recharge
your account, enter the voucher number. Vouchers can be purchased from any of
Kalaam’s authorized resellers in the market.
• Your new credit balance will be
confirmed. If your phone is not able to carry out this operation, please
call 8001 4321 and
dial ##9, after you hear the dial tone.
How to Check your Balance
•Dial ##0
on your mobile phone for automated voice prompt. If your phone is not able to
carry out this operation, please call 8001 4321 and
dial ##0, after you hear the dial tone.
Helpful tips to remember
• It is normal for a slight delay to occur
while connecting to your dialed destination.
• Since hala will not work outside Bahrain,
please switch the mode to OFF when leaving Bahrain to use roaming facility with
your existing mobile service provider.
• Emergency and special calls will not go
through hala, but will be passed to your mobile operator. If for any reason,
you are unable to connect through hala , call 8001 4321
and dial your international destination number directly.
Please
follow these instructions to install and use hala correctly on your mobile
phone:
1. Insert hala
• Switch off your mobile and open the cover
of your handset.
• Remove your existing sim card from your
mobile.
• Now, place hala , circuit face on the top
of the sim card circuit facing one another.
• Then insert the sim card and hala together
into your handset.
• If necessary, cut a non-circuit portion of
the sim card to ensure better fit.
2. Switch on your mobile
phone
• The screen will now display “Kalaam” in
addition to your GSM operator logo.
3. Select the Mode
• To activate Hala , go to the mobile phone
menu and select Kalaam from your network connections. (You can find this where
the service provider menu is usually located).
• There will be an option to select Mode.
Please select the Mode as ICC2# (or ON).
• To de-activate Hala , set the Mode to OFF.
Henceforth, all calls will be made using your existing GSM operator.
• Exit the menu and use your mobile phone as
usual.
